Dr. Tarek Ebrahim is a physician, rare disease leader, and global biotechnology executive with more than 25 years of experience advancing therapies for rare and ultra-rare diseases through medical affairs, commercialization strategy, clinical development strategy, and launch readiness. He has built and led global medical affairs organizations at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine and X4 Pharmaceuticals, driving medical strategy, evidence generation, patient identification, scientific engagement, and advocacy partnerships to support regulatory milestones, medical adoption, and global therapy launches. Previously, Dr. Ebrahim held leadership roles at Alexion and Genzyme/Sanofi, where he helped shape medical marketing and market development strategies that expanded access to innovative therapies for people living with rare diseases worldwide. Throughout his career, he has focused on integrating clinical insight, real-world evidence, and patient-centered approaches to accelerate the development, adoption, and access of transformative treatments for rare and ultra-rare diseases.
